Dawn is originally from England and in 2001 she moved to Paekakariki, New Zealand. In her family, gifting jewellery for special occasions became a bit of a tradition. Dawn and her sister always received jewellery for major birthdays and their dad always gave their mum beautiful jewellery to show his love. This cemented Dawn’s love of jewellery and led her to study jewellery making at the Inverlochy Art School here in Wellington. Dawn’s inspiration comes from her environment and everyday objects. Her designs are made with form and function in mind with a little whimsy thrown in.
