Hannah Mae Clayton's workshop is surrounded by native bush where she is constantly inspired to create jewellery and learning new techniques on how to shape and form metals. Her work is often described as being distinctly feminine, and is largely process driven - beginning with an idea that often evolves into a series of work. Inspired largely by natural forms and with an emphasis on artistry and craft. Each piece is created with a mix of wax carving, casting and traditional hand fabrication techniques.
