Denise started her jewellery making journey at Inverlochy Art School in Wellington and was tutored by NZ jeweller, Sue Shore. From the first day Denise started making jewellery she knew this was what she wanted to do as a career. Denise draws inspiration for her pieces from the coastal environment, her family, and her love of working with metals. Using various techniques, she shapes the base materials into pieces that reflect what she sees and feels and allows the design to morph as it progresses, ensuring every piece is unique.
