SHIPPING
We aim to get your order processed and dispatched as soon as possible.
The Vault team is very efficient and we generally get orders out the same day. Most orders will arrive promptly, however we are not responsible for unforeseen delays once the parcel is in the hands of the courier company.
Orders placed after 2pm (on a week day) will be processed and dispatched the following working day.
There is no courier collection on weekends or public holiday’s. Orders placed on these days will be dispatched the next working day.
We use "Go Sweet Spot” to streamline our deliveries. A tracking number will be emailed to you so you can keep track of your parcel. If you need further assistant with tracking please contact us on -+64 4 4711404 or email us at wellington@thevaultnz.com
Go Sweet Spot is unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.
Please double check that the delivery address you have entered is correct, if the address is incorrect there may be a re-delivery fee.
We use a "signature required” service, this means someone needs to be there to sign for the parcel. If no one is there when the Courier arrives they will leave a calling card to let you know they have tried to deliver your parcel.

Purchases over $149.00 delivered to a New Zealand address (excluding Rural delivery) will be shipped FREE of charge. If the purchase is under $149.00 there will be a freight charge.

South Island $10.00
Rural deliveries $15.00
Once your order has been dispatched you should receive the product between 2 – 5 working days, please allow extra time for rural deliveries.
When making an order please take into account any public holidays, weekends or time of the year, for example around Christmas time, as this can extend delivery times.
With large or very fragile items there may be additional freight charges, this is due to the difficulties with shipping these items safely. Any products this applies to will be identified in the description on the website.
DISPLAY ONLY ITEMS: Some items on our website are for display only and cannot be purchased online due to being oversized. However, if you'd like one of these oversized items delivered within New Zealand, you can contact our Vault team at wellington@thevaultnz.com to get a shipping quote. Due to their size, these items don’t qualify for free shipping, and you’ll need to pay a shipping fee. Unfortunately, international shipping is not available for these items.
AUSTRALIA
We ship to Australia via international courier using a tracked service with a delivery target of 2-6 working days. Shipping starts at $40.00 but there may be additional freight charges based on the size and or weight of your overall package. We will contact you via email if there is to be any additional cost above the $40.00 base rate.

There are flight disruptions and cancellations as well as local governments' restrictions in place impacting many destinations. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
Any International deliveries will be shipped using the NZ Post International Courier Service; this is a tracked service and will require a signature upon delivery
CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
Once the parcel has left New Zealand any Customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient or buyer. Please check the customs regulations, fees and requirements of your country or the country you are sending the item to, to see if any duties may apply.
COVID-19
The spread of COVID-19 globally has led to reduced airfreight capacity and stricter lockdown restrictions within certain countries, causing delays.
There are currently delays of up to 5 working days with getting parcels from New Zealand onto international flights due to limited cargo capacity.
NZ Post are doing everything they can to get all parcels destined for overseas processed as quickly as possible.
CLICK AND COLLECT
You can choose to collect your online purchase from our physical store location at 2 Plimmer Steps, Wellington CBD. When your order has been processed our team will email you so you'll know it's ready for your collection. If you have any further information for us, please type this in the comments field through checkout.
ALERT LEVEL 3 RESTRICTIONS all pick ups must be contactless. Please select click and collect through checkout. When your order has been processed we’ll email you to let you know it's ready for contactless pick up. The pick up time is 11am to 2pm Monday to Saturday. Please have your order confirmation ready to show staff at the collection point. The collection point is located at the top of the internal stairs at the glass door. URGENT DELIVERIES
If your purchase is urgent, we may be able to get your order out on an Express courier. An item sent by Express Courier is not included in our standard rates for domestic and or international courier; there will be an additional charge if this service is required.

DAMAGED ITEMS
We always ensure to safely wrap and dispatch any items we ship with care and appropriately for travel.
If you find an item has arrived damaged please contact us within 24 hours of receiving a damaged parcel. Please make sure to take photographs of the damaged item, including all the packaging and email it to The Vault team at wellington@thevaultnz.com we will do our best to sort thing’s out as quickly as possible.
SIGNING FOR PARCELS
When signing for your parcel we recommend you sign your name and the letters "STI” (SUBJECT TO INSPECTION).
This means you have accepted the parcels but haven’t inspected the items inside. If, when you open the parcel and it has been damaged in transit, this may help making a claim with the courier company.
