A beautiful sculpture by Rebecca Hall Called “Chasing the Tears”.

“Chasing the Tears” is concerned with the melting of our Glaciers here in New Zealand, in particular Ka Roimata-a-Hinehukatere, the traditional Māori name for Franz Josef Glacier.

The literal meaning is ‘the tears of Hinehukatere’.

“Our glaciers are in trouble, each year the walk to view the ice is longer and so “Chasing the tears” has been my response to this”.

Each tear is sold separately and there are four different sizes to choose from.
This tear is the second largest of the four.
