A pair of hand-embroidered kiwi nestled cosily inside a metal tin "nest" with a peek-a-boo window

Inside kiwi's tin nest you will also find:
* a soft brown woollen mattress with interwoven feathers
* a "manuka" flower pillow
* a fabric leaf blanket
* an embroidered leaf plate with "rimu" bead fruits
* a clay egg

This kiwi playset includes a brown kiwi and a white kiwi inspired by Manukura, who was the first white kiwi to hatch in captivity. She had a very rare genetic condition that gave her striking white feathers even though both her parents had brown feathers.

Each pocket pal playset is embroidered and crocheted by me from soft 100% wool felt and wool/cotton yarns. The intricate felt pieces are carefully hand cut from soft 100% wool felt sheets and handstitched with love using high quality cotton/satin DMC threads. Pocket pals are filled with new soft synthetic toy filling.
