This beautiful Kiwi bird ring was created by local silversmith Gina Goad from Heylo. Gina’s work is piled high with personality as well as drawing on Kāpiti’s coastal vibe and Aotearoa’s amazing wildlife. Each piece is hand-crafted and uniquely Heylo.

Kiwi are flightless birds found only in New Zealand. With tiny stubs for wings, these funny-looking birds can't fly, they have feathers that are more like shaggy hair and cat-like whiskers. The Kiwi has short, strong legs and like hedgehogs, the Kiwi come out at night, sniffing out worms, insects and fruit.
