This special Shoal Vase was inspired by a huge shoal of fish down the Marlborough sounds. Made with white clay & locally sourced Picton river sand, that is visible through the surface of the piece.

The piece is made by individually making lots of tiny fish, that are joined together and glazed in a beautiful gloss pale blue.

Due to the structural design, this vase isn't watertight.
