This Ginkgo Ring has been created by Maddy at Kawakawa Stone, inspired by Nature. It is cast in solid sterling silver, with a New Zealand pounamu cabochon insert.

The Ginkgo Biloba tree is the last living species of the Ginkgoales which appeared 290 millions years ago. Fossils of the genus Ginkgo extend as far as 170 million years old. This tree is considered by many as a living fossil and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine since the 11th century.
