A lovely Wellington clay mug handcrafted by local potter Harriet Bright.

Each clay has a unique character, often with rich colouring. In order to gather clay in a way that is not damaging to the natural environment Harriet looks for clay at construction sites, road slips and other places where it’s already disturbed. The clay used here comes from a garden renovation site in Brooklyn
